Iowa State to remain among ten member Big 12

Our goal with ISUtoBig10.com was to raise the profile of Iowa State as an institution worthy of membership amongst college football's power conferences. We created this site when the Big 12 seemed on the verge of collapse and we, as fans, felt that Big Ten was the next most logical conference. As the Big 12 office announced today, the league will continue in a new ten school institution so our work here is done.

Iowa State AD Jamie Pollard said last week, "We believe the Big 12 Conference is a perfect fit for Iowa State University" and the team behind ISUtoBig10.com whole heartedly agrees.

Our initial introduction to this site included the following: "Iowans tend to be a humble people and, as such, we don't always trumpet our accomplishments like we should. For that reason we're not talked about often enough as a candidate should [the Big Ten] expand."

We want to thank the thousands of visitors who stopped by this site in the last week. Most of you are not Cyclones and we're confident that you're not only more educated about Iowa State as a fit for the Big 12, Big Ten or any other major collegiate football conference but also aware of our viability in collegiate athletics.

Our hope is that our team's performance on the field, court, and mat now and in the future will assure that we're not "overlooked" again.
